President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the Presidential Candidate of the ruling party at the recently concluded Presidential primaries.
In a statement he personally signed, Buhari expressed satisfaction by the margin of Tinubu’s victory stating it signposts popular support amongst party faithful. The President further commended the APC candidate for his measured and inspiring nomination acceptance speech which he stressed affirmed the need for unity as the party inches closer to the campaign season.
