The revolution of the Nigerian Railway embarked upon by the present administration scored a major goal as the rehabilitation of Itakpe-Ajaokuta rail line, construction of 12 station buildings and permanent way located in Agbor Facility Yard recently passed final acceptance.
This was announced by the company in charge, the Chinese Civil Engineering Construction Cooperation via their Twitter page on the 10th of June, by 7:29am.
This milestone will facilitate easy transportation for locals and visitors, open the local economy for trade and boost the industrialization of other towns located along that route.
The company announced that all efforts to ensure that the spread of COVID19 was mitigated was made.
It also announced that the project owner, Federal Ministry of Transportation and the consulting firm confirmed the quality of work done.
They were unanimous in their praise of the project and called it a “landmark in the construction of Nigerian Railway.”
